Activity!? Enjoy ski!!!

There are number of premier ski resorts in Korea especially to the east part due to heavy snow in the winter season. Personally, I like to go to Yongpyong ski resort which is most famous ski resort at the moment. Of course there are other nice resorts like High1, Alphensia which is new built one and so on..

More over, you can have full rental equipment for every size from kids to adults.
Also, you can even enjoy night skiing and using spa after ski to make you relax.

P.S Make sure visit the top of mountain by taking Gondola. It just fabulous.

Seoul N Tower

There is an Eiffel tower in Paris, but there is a N tower in Seoul :) , a landmark of Seoul, Korea.

Night view from the N tower

It has a great view from the top and you don't really need to get a ticket to the top of tower as you can fully enjoy the scenery at the deck. Especially, if you go there with your lover, you will have very romantic time like in the movie.

A number of locks that put on the fence with your wish

Lots of apartments in Seoul

Roof terrace that you can have a great view of Seoul.

Gondola to the N tower
You really don't need to walk :)

DMZ TOUR(The 3rd infiltration tunnel course)

DMZ..... Where can see and feel tragedy of seperated country. South korea is the only seperated land in the world. My grand father escaped from North korea during the war and he fought for South korea.
When I visit the DMZ, I could imagine how he missed his left family in North korea of course he made a big family in South and having wonderful life in a peaceful country.

But he must have had a tough time since he settled in South... I wish he will have a chance to meet his left family in North someday.. However, this is the front line that we can not go anymore as it's surrounded by iron fence from west to the far east of Korea. The gap between South and North is about 4km. There are nothing between that area except for some military soldiers. In some way, it's very beautiful as no one touched that area for half century which is well preserved for pure nature. We can see very rare animal and plant that never seen from another place. Of course, it's very dangerous place as well due to invisible mines on the ground sadly.

Infiltration tunnel,, made by North korea around late 1970 and found out by military workers of South.
As far as I know, there are 4 infiltration tunnel in total. I just can't understand why they tried to make this tunnel and terrible when thinking about getting attack from North again.

You will be shocked when you get there because of the long and deep tunnel. Nowadays, many tourist visit this place not only korean but also foreigners. On the other hand, we thank to North korea as we make it profitable by having tourist from all over the world. :)

However, if you think about trip to Korea, DMZ should be a priority on your list.

They provide Panmunjeom tour as well which is called JSA(Joint Security Area)
Just for your information, some countries like China, Singapore or some other countries has to submit thier scanned passport 7days in advance of visit.

But the contries like USA, UK or Japan can make a reservation without the submit of passport.

The way of living for ancient korean

Changdeokgung Palace (UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage)

During the last weekend, my friend and I went to the palace which was truly beautiful place located in the middle of Seoul city. It was pretty interesting when we imagine what the real life of king and their royal family. The local tour guide said, this palace is well preserved compare to another palaces in Seoul city that most of them were destroyed during the Japanese colony in the early 20th.

As a korean, I wish we had still maintained a kingdom like some other countries like in UK, Japan etc. :)
However, it was quite nice to be there although it was freaking cold... Maybe I will try to visit there again in spring season. Ha!

If you haven't been this place, you should no must try. Personally, Changdeok place is more beatiful and feel the old atmosphere than another palaces in Seoul..
